The Lio Comun armchair designed by Philippe Starck was published by XO between 1991 and 1996. It is part of his organic research. The back and seat are made of molded plywood. They are lacquered cyan with an impression of crocodile skin. The galvanized metal and the undulating shape of the structure contribute to the biomorphic dimension of the piece. There is a more refined version of this model.
