Xavier Mategot (1956 - ?)

Xavier Mategot is an architect by formation. He also works in the field of furniture and industrial design. He seeks to develop an aesthetic in accordance with the characteristics of the material and the constructive principles that are universal through the law of gravity. His furniture is published by Farjon, for which he designs the factory.

He participates in several competitions for the development of public or private places. He was awarded the Agora grant in 1987 and the same year his XM 07 chair was selected for the community chair competition organized by the Hauts-de-Seine general council and the Boulogne-Billancourt cultural center.
