DESIGNER : Philippe Starck

EDITEUR : Disform

The Wendy Wright chair, designed by Philippe Starck in 1986 and produced by the Spanish publisher Disform, takes its name from the science fiction novel Ubik by Philip K. Dick. In fact, many of Starck's creations refer to the characters in this book, which are therefore of great importance to the designer.

The chair is composed of three legs attached to a curved metal rod forming the back. It is also characterized by a central foot, a possibility explored later for the Jane Paille chair that Starck made in 1987. The seat, supported by four legs, is made of a simple sheet of metal.
