The Une étrangeté vase designed by Philippe Starck is one of a series of pieces created for the Daum crystal glassworks. Founded in 1878 in Nancy by Jean Daum, the Daum crystal works have collaborated with some of the great names in Art Nouveau, creating a unique and incomparable heritage. This piece is a blown horn called "strangeness" by the designer. It is numbered 68/75.
