Mario Botta (1943 - ?)

Mario Botta is an Italian architect and designer. He is studying at the University Institute of Architecture in Venice. In 1969, he opened his own agency. That same year, he participated in the design of the new Venice Congress Centre.
During his career, Mario Botta has designed both public and private projects. He is interested in the simple forms he revisits. One of his most famous achievements is the round house located in Stabio, dating from 1982. Mario Botta is also known for his work as a designer. Indeed, in the 1980s, he devoted himself to the creation of furniture produced by Artemide and Alias.
