Maria Chomentowska (1924-2013)

Maria Chomentowska is a polish interior designer. She studied interior design in Warsaw with Jan Kurzątkowski as a teacher. In 1951, she got her diploma, and she started to work in the Industiel Design Institut (IWP). She chosed to specialize in furniture design and more particularly in transport area. Her most famous creation are kitchen furnitures, workers apartment, children furniture, streetcar etc.
After having moved out to Lubin in 1977, She worked on KUL building’s. She died in 2013.
