Extendable dining table, French craftsmanship from the 1940s

Reference : D1843

This rectangular oak dining table is a French piece from the 1940s. It is fitted with two extension leaves, integrated beneath the tabletop, which extend from either side. Each extension measures 65.5 cm, making it easy to increase the table’s seating capacity. The tabletop is adorned with geometric marquetry, whilst its fluted rim highlights the quality of the cabinet-making. The four turned wooden legs are connected by an elegant X-shaped brace, lending stability and character to the piece. This table has been carefully restored whilst retaining its beautiful original patina.
