This Art Deco bookcase dates from the 1920s. Its design is reminiscent of the work of the interior designer André Pierre-Émile Groult. Crafted from walnut and black-lacquered wood, its composition is accentuated by the black elements that give structure to the front. The two side doors are adorned with marquetry medallions forming stylised floral motifs. In the centre, the unit opens via a glass-panelled door. This bookcase is in a fine original condition.
