The Botta 91 chair was designed by Mario Botta for the 700th anniversary of the Swiss Confederation. It was produced by the publisher Alias in 1991. It is labeled engraved and numbered by the manufacturer. A lithograph is associated with the piece. 

The chair is made of a steel tube structure in grey anthracite on which is placed a fabric produced by Laghental with rectilinear patterns in light grey and white.
