The Boom Rang chair was designed by Philippe Starck in 1991 and produced by Driade between 1992 and 1997. It was probably the shape of the backrest that prompted the designer to give the model this name. The biomorphic curves echo other pieces by the designer. Starck's emphasis on practicality is evident in its stackable nature. The structure is in polyurethane with metal reinforcements.
