DESIGNER : Philippe Starck

Producer : 3 Suisses

The Joe Ship model is a table designed by Philippe Starck in 1982 referring to a character from the novel Ubik by Philip K. Dick. It was published in 1982 possibly by the 3 Suisses or XO.

It is composed of a round tray supported by four legs divided into two tubular parts joined by an intermediate ball, holding it together by a kind of clamp. The height of the legs is 35cm, in other models it can reach 56cm up to 72,5cm for a dining table. The top itself also varies, sometimes in wood or glass, round, square or rectangular.
