The Joe Ship model is a table designed by Philippe Starck in 1982. It refers to a character from the novel Ubik by Philip K. Dick. It was published in 1982 by the 3 Suisses and XO.

It is composed of a marble top supported by four legs divided into two tubular parts joined by an intermediate ball, holding the latter by a system of vice. The height of the legs is 35 cm. It exists in two other heights 56 cm and 72,5 cm.
