This side table is a modernist piece from the 1930s. It is reminiscent of Jean Burkhalter’s work, produced by Primavera for the 1925 International Exhibition of Decorative Arts. Its wooden frame rests on a black-painted plinth and is organised around a geometric base incorporating two levels of storage. Small metal fittings connect the frame to the circular black marble top. This table is in good original condition and has a lovely patina.
