Coffee table by Philippe Starck, ‘Joe Ship’ model, 1982

Reference : K0615

DESIGNER : Philippe Starck

Producer : 3 Suisses

The Joe Ship model is a table designed by Philippe Starck in 1982, inspired by a character from Philip K. Dick’s novel *Ubik*. It was produced in 1982, possibly by 3 Suisses or XO.

It consists of a round MDF top supported by three legs, each divided into two tubular sections joined by an intermediate ball, with the legs held in place by a sort of clamp. The legs are 35 cm high; in other models, this can range from 56 cm up to 72.5 cm for a dining table.
