DESIGNER : Philippe Starck

Producer : Driade

During his career, Philippe Starck has designed many folding furniture. The Mickville chair, produced by the publisher Driade between 1985 and 1995, is in line with their continuity. This chair in lacquered steel of gray color also exists in other colors, such as gold or more rarely white. It was thus conceived as a chair by the designer but it is also but it is also assimilated to a piece of sofa. Folding lends a graphic dimension to the object, which stands on its own when folded, transforming it into a sculpture.
