Modernist wooden desk, dating from the 1940s

Reference : D1813

This mahogany desk is a French piece from the 1940s. It is a fine example of modernist design, featuring a very boxy drawer unit that extends right down to the floor, a thick tabletop and a metal footrest bar that accentuates the wooden structure.
