DESIGNER : Philippe Starck

Producer : Driade

The Clown table was designed by Philippe Starck for Driade in 1988. Indeed, it follows in a line of folding furniture with the Mrs Frick and Mickville chairs. The folded piece is just as interesting as unfolded. This interest in this type of furniture may well have originated with his first collection in 1967, "Mobilier de crise", for small spaces and the less fortunate. This table features a top with an openwork clown face.
