Jean-Pierre Vasarely was a French painter born in 1934. Son of the famous painter Victor Vasarely, he chose to be called « Yvaral » in order to build his own reputation. He studied graphics in Paris. In the sixties, he became one of the most representative artist of kinetic art . He is also one of the creator of the G.R.A.V (Visual art group) regrouping abstract art artists. Group which aims to open access to art.
He died in 2002.
