This Arts & Crafts-style armchair is an English piece from the early 20th century. It is reminiscent of the work of William Birch. Its frame is made of solid oak and its simply styled backrest reflects the aesthetic of the Arts & Crafts movement. The straw seat has been reupholstered. This armchair is in a fine original condition and has a lovely patina.
