Scandinavian games table by Lindum and Middelboe, 1970

Reference : D1932

DESIGNER: Gorm Lindum & Rolf Middelboe

MANUFACTURER: Tranekaer Furniture

This Scandinavian games table from the 1970s was designed by Gorm Lindum and Rolf Middelboe, and produced by the Danish firm Tranekær Furniture. The frame is made of cherry wood. The reversible top serves two purposes: one side features a chessboard created from an arrangement of wooden cubes in different woods, whilst the other is covered in leather. Four side drawers provide storage for game accessories, whilst a hidden storage compartment beneath the tabletop completes this ingenious design. This 1970s table is in a fine original condition.
