The Belgian painter Jean-Michel Folon was born in 1934. At the age pf 21, he gave up his architect’s studies to focus on drawing. During 5 years he worked on his drawing in Paris, but at that time, he did not draw attention of french public. Then he decided to send his works to American magazines which published him without meeting him.
Jean-Michel Folon’ carrier took off and in 1964 his works were finally exposed in Paris.
He died in 2005 in Monaco.
